Brown Family Homestead
Twenty minutes outside of Leavenworth, Brown Family Homestead is the perfect blend of breathtaking scenery and a rustic vibe. Tucked away from the main highway, the grounds are peaceful and cozy, perfect for a laid back, intimate day. The owners and employees are all incredibly kind and wonderful to work with, and offer bar tending and wedding coordinating services for a minimal added cost, which I highly recommend taking them up on. The main homestead house, which is usually used for getting ready, is also available for overnight acommadations, with several rooms for up to eight people to sleep in. This is an awesome deal, especially if you’re coming in from out of town.
The homestead is full of a various locations. The rustic getting ready spaces, ceremony site overlooking the Cascade Mountains, treehouse to sign your license and enjoy a drink in, tented reception area and dance floor, and wide open field full of wildflowers are all beautifully picturesque. They even have horses and chickens! I’ve photographed weddings here in the sun, rain, and smoke, and all have been stunning. I don’t know of a venue with a better view of the mountains. If you’re a nature lover and the scenery is important to you, this is your venue.
